The course explores how to understand, analyze, and navigate the complexities of contemporary organizational life. Students are introduced to key principles and practices of human behavior—such as motivation and emotions—alongside essential aspects of organizational dynamics—such as project management and culture. The course develops students' capacity to assess, diagnose, and effectively navigate workplaces.
GRADUATE ASSISTANT
The course examines how to lead and manage teams in organizations that are not financially oriented. The course equips students with the skills to design environments that sustain engagement, meaning, individual empowerment and effective collaboration.
The course explores the changing nature of work in contemporary organizations, from technological shifts to evolving labor markets and career trajectories. The course provides students with the skills to critically analyze emerging work environments, design informed projections for specific lines of work, and apply their insights to create jobs that meet the needs of individuals, organizations, and society.
The course explores ethical challenges in contemporary business. Students are introduced to key frameworks and strategies for evaluating the legal, moral, and ethical dimensions of decision-making. The course develops students' capacity to critically assess complex scenarios and navigate multifaceted decision-making responsibly and effectively.
