Here is my CV !
BIO
I hold a BSc in Economics from the University of Rome-Tor Vergata and an MSc in Management from Bayes Business School-City, University of London.
Before entering academia, I worked as a management consultant in Milan and London, contributing to strategy formulation projects for clients in the utilities, manufacturing, and mobility sectors.
During my doctoral studies, I have examined the grassroots response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the emergence of alternative and contested forms of expertise in society. In Spring 2025, I received the 'Outstanding Research Award ' by the Questrom PhD Program.
I have also taught the undergraduate course 'Dynamics of Leading Organizations' and mentored six teams of students as they gained access to major corporations, interviewed executives, and examined contemporary challenges related to talent management and evolving work arrangements. In Spring 2026, I received the 'Outstanding Teaching Award ' by the Questrom PhD Program.
In my dissertation, I explore the making of shared treatment plans between clinicians and patients in breast, prostate, and thyroid cancer clinics at a large, teaching hospital in the U.S. My job market paper tackles the critical question of when and how experts revise their judgement in response to input from non-experts.
I serve as ad-hoc reviewer for the American Journal of Sociology and the Journal of Management Studies, and I regularly review submissions for the Academy of Management annual meeting. In Summer 2025, I received the 'Above and Beyond the Call of Duty Reviewer Award' by the OMT division of the Academy of Management.Â
